There are three steps to own IT. The first step is to get off the nail. The nail? Yes. We are all motivated by one of two things. Either we seek rewards or we want to stop pain. In Chapter 13, Allen (my husband) and I went to a conference and heard a woman talk about how her husband drove her crazy. This was the beginning of understanding personalities. I am now a Certified Behavior Analyst and teach individuals and teams not only about themselves, but how to understand and communicate with others.
